Volunteers doing an amazing job at saving these wonderful and pivotal species. Not getting any assistance from local government, so relying on donations. In fact the shocking truth is that Cairns council have been destroying these poor creatures habitat! The dedication of this group of volunteers is mind blowing and they are doing great work bringing awareness to the cause and educating the public on the importance of Flying Foxes to the Rainforest. Also, they are making a wonderful effort to change public perception on these animals that have been unfairly villanised by media and entertainment industries!
